A Great Day Out at Cotton Tree
What a great day. Set up was done in style and the crowd started to build.
Interest in our overall stand with Yandina giving energy with all their
plants and things to sell was fabulous.
Our feathered friends in the dome where well behaved and gave life to the
back of our display. Seedsavers Sue did a very lovely job explaining the
reasons for this process of saving and sharing seeds and interested visitors
signed up for a newsletter contact.
The sun shone warmly and the day was very relaxing.
Pack-up went very smoothly and we all headed for home at 5:30pm , very tired
and in need of a warm shower and a hearty soup to put us all to bed knowing
that Permaculture Noosa and Yandina Community Gardens had showed their best
ever World Environment Day contact with visitors who now can grasp why we as
members love to spread the word that we can all work together to make where
we live a Permaculture place.

XX Val (Events Coordinator Valerie Wilson)

What President Tim had to say about the day:
“Valerie and her assistants, together with the Yandina Community Garden crew, did an amazing job. Val’s vision of how it all needed to be arranged and exactly what was needed to display, was spot on. It was designed so well that it was impossible for anyone to go past the Permaculture Noosa and YCG kiosks without stopping and taking a look.”
