Please come and join us at Cooroy Community Permaculture Gardens for a welcome to our newest and would-be volunteers, and a thank you to all our existing volunteers. We cannot function without you and we appreciate all you do for us.
We will commence the morning with our usual Sunday morning working bee at 8.00 am at the gardens—and if you’ve ever been interested in seeing what we get up to, this is an excellent time to join us, no matter your level of fitness, skill or permaculture knowledge.
At 10.30 am we will welcome all volunteers, take a tour around the gardens and run our induction and training program (about 30 minutes) for the Permaculture Noosa Festival. We will be joined by Chad from Plastic Free Noosa who will help guide us towards a successful plastic free festival.
At the completion of training, join us for a free organic sausage sizzle – our chance to say thank you to everyone.
You don’t need to be a volunteer at our community gardens – this morning is for all our volunteers- we have many people who help us out in a number of ways. You are all welcome.
And we encourage you to consider helping out at our festival. We need waste warriors, but there are many other jobs both before and on the day. Come along and find out how you can help to make our Festival a great success!
Many hands make light work … the more people who are willing to help, the more free time each and every one of us will have to enjoy the excellent line up of speakers, workshops and demonstrations at the Festival.
