Our Next Open Garden 24th July

July’s open garden is very special. Robin Clayfield, who was our July club night guest speaker, will be hosting us at Crystal Waters Eco Village near Conondale.

For those of you who haven’t been to Conondale, it’s a 50 minute drive from Cooroy so you might want to consider carpooling (if you’re looking to share a ride or want to offer a seat in your car you might like to post your offer or request on the Noosa Permaculture Facebook page).

Consider arriving early and have a cuppa at the Crystal Waters Cafe.

Jenny Blagdon and Wayne Spiers are your Open Gardens Coordinators.

The garden is in retrofit after three years away followed by two years building and reclaiming the jungle.

  • fledgling art and sculpture permaculture expanding its diversity and systems.
  • retaining wall construction, earthworks and garden structures
  • underground stone room

Situated on a slope, amidst abundant wildlife, there are challenges and solutions that keep everything interesting. Food security, water security, fire safety, social design and an old age plan are all key elements that Robin and her partner Rob are working towards.

Entry fee (whether you attend one or both tours)

$2 for members and $5 for non members (16 years and under free).

You might like to also consider making a separate donation directly to Robin for hosting us so generously over an entire day.
