Josh Overell – Structural Engineer from Recor Consulting is another great fit in our Pavilion team. Together Creating Sustainable and Lasting Benefit is the first thing you see on their website and it’s what excites us about working with him. Permaculture Noosa is grateful to have Josh and his team with us.

Although RECOR is only in its second year of operation, we have grown from our small office of directors in Noosaville to a dynamic team of 7 full time staff including civil and structural engineers, numerous contractors and opening an NSW office in Wollongong and an office in Gympie in the pipeline. We founded RECOR with a vision to combine over 40 years of expertise across the building, infrastructure, and new energy sectors with our passion for sustainability.

We have a keen interest in local projects across the Noosa and Cooroy region and are so excited to be a part of the team working with Permaculture Noosa on the new pavilion within the Cooroy Community Gardens. It makes me very proud that RECOR is involved in local initiatives that build such valuable infrastructure and spaces that will not only give back to our community but will encourage sustainable living for us all and generations to come.

Some of our other exciting local projects include designing modular homes for Eco Cottages in Cooroy, a large local affordable housing project and the restoration and expansion of the Eumundi Museum. In 2021 we partnered with Downer to complete one of our largest projects servicing the Advancing Clean Energy Schools Project (ACES) which involved the installation of solar panels on over 800 Queensland state schools.

These are all quality projects that complement and enhance our built environment in the Noosa Biosphere.
