PermEco Inc. with Tom and Zaia Kendall are presenting a farm tour and introducing a new local band on Sunday 30 August at the Kendall Permaculture Farm, (Covid-19 permitting).

Tom will be doing an educational 3-hour farm tour. He will demonstrate the many interactive and interconnected permaculture systems on the Farm including biogas, food forest, swales, syntropic market garden, animal systems, composting systems and much more! Tom will explain the systems and how they interconnect, and talk about the journey of getting to where the farm is now. The tour will be followed by afternoon tea.

NIZAMI is a new local marimba dance band put together by Zaia. It consists of 3 marimba players, a bass guitarist and a drummer. They play original dance music in genres ranging from Latin to Gypsy, Disco to Techno, Funk to House with a bit of Jazz and Swing thrown in… this is a high energy band guaranteed to get you moving! The marimbas are locally made in Kin Kin and are wooden, warm and happy sounding instruments.
Nizami will play 2 sets with a break for dinner.

The tour, afternoon tea, Nizami’s performance and dinner are all offered by donation, pay what you can afford. Donations for the Nizami performance will go towards the band and the sound & light engineer, donations for afternoon tea, dinner and the Farm Tour will go towards running costs of the not for profit PermEco Inc.

The Nizami performance will also be live streamed on the day at or on the Nizami YouTube channel. The event will go ahead Covid-19 permitting. Attendees will be contacted via email if it needs to be cancelled due to Covid.
