Bruce and Eve Morgan Open Garden #3

Tour Taster

Bruce Morgan and Eve have been SUPER generous to invite us to have an Open Garden at their 3000 sqm terraced paradise. Bruce and Eve have been members of Nambour Permaculture for MANY years and when I approached them they kindly agreed to let Permaculture Noosa members enjoy a tour of their paradise. Here they have employed a multitude of Permaculture principles over some decades.

Approximately 10 years ago Bruce was interviewed and the 2 minute 38 second youtube, shows what their place was like when it was running at its full potential. (Type – Chicken Tunnel Man into your search engine and watch Bruce’s chook concept in action on youtube!)

Bruce has many exciting ideas to share, however at 84 years of age Bruce will only be doing the tour and taking questions from 7:30-8:10am, so be sure to anticipate arriving early/on time. After that you are welcome to romp around the gardens and consider the variety of Permaculture principles that were/are in place here.

Their beautiful property includes many fruit trees, veggies and edible greens, a stunning creek, along with chooks and ducks.

Afterwards, tea, coffee, biscuits and watermelon will be available. This is a great opportuniy to relax and enjoy the surrounds and ask more questions and socialise with like-minded friends. Bruce asked that you might bring along a little something for this morning tea, as an added incentive for everyone to socialise and engage with Bruce and Eve.

We look forward to seeing you there to share in Bruce’s wealth of knowledge, cheeky sense of humour, and inspiring Permaculture paradise.
